Incidentally, just before I pulled out of the driveway, I took this photo for posterity-
We'll see how that looks next week!
So, today was the big travel day.
Lots of borders crossed-
And the drive was breathtaking. Twists and turns and hills and mountains and rocks and trees and clouds and a rain storm.

I went directly to the field, and met with Keith and a surprise guest- Dr. Ben Kibler! Dr. Kibler and I worked with pitchers together in the Dominican. He is an established orthopedic surgeon from Lexington, KY who works with the Kansas City Royals and Houston Astros.
We hammered out the assignments for tomorrow- "Lyn, we're gonna have you work with pitchers of course"- as well as the 'in case of rain' plans, which call from Dr. Kibler and I to do an in-class sort of lecture on arm maintenance and proper mechanics.
Then we went to dinner at- and I'm quoting here- "an authentic Kentucky Mexcan restaurant". I'm not kidding. I had the 'Enchalada Superiosa'. It was neither.
Now I'm back in my room writing a blog and drinking a pop from the machine outside my room. Look at this crazy selection...and the price! God Bless America!
My room mate is Taylor Hasty. He's the head coach, and recently named Athletic Director of Bryan College, a small Christian college in Dayton, TN. More impressive though, is that he is being mentored by Don Gordon. Wow.
Well, That's about it for tonight- just laid out my uniform for tomorrow- gonna go with WHITES.
My verse for today is a simple one- PSALMS 16:11
"Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."
Good night!
